Oiamiga’s Rapid Activator is designed to reduce processing time while helping improve colour intensity and longevity.

Suggested timings:

  • Beards, moustaches, and bikini area: around 10 minutes for a softer blended finish.
  • Fine hair: approximately 15 minutes.
  • Thick or coarse hair: around 30 minutes for fuller colour payoff.
  • Stubborn greys: up to 40 minutes for maximum coverage.

How to use:

  • Wash hair with the pre-shampoo and rinse thoroughly.
  • Towel dry until slightly damp.
  • Mix equal parts colour gel and Rapid Activator.
  • If colouring smaller areas, use only the quantity required and reseal the remaining product for future use.
  • You can simply mix equal parts of the Colour Gel and Rapid Activator in a separate bowl, pop the lids back on the bottles and store them for up to six months to use next time.
  • Apply evenly and leave on according to your chosen timing.
  • Rinse until water runs clear, then apply the conditioner provided.

Permanent hair colour requires a permanent oxidative pigment to work - be it PPD, PTD, PTDS or PTS - and all of these have the potential to cause an allergic reaction. Oiamiga uses PPD at the lowest possible level to get a great result, which reduces the risk of a reaction.
The mix is quite generous, so unless you have long hair, below your shoulder blades, or very thick hair, one box should be ample.
