At John & Ginger we aim to despatch all parcels the same or next working day with Royal Mail. If you will not be at home during normal office hours you can provide us with an alternative delivery address where someone will be available to take in your parcel.

Please note johnandginger.co.uk will only consider claims for lost international parcels 21 working days after despatch for Europe and 90 days outside of Europe as occasionally delays can occur.

There are no hidden charges from us. However, depending on where you live, there may be a customs charge upon entry to the country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient.

Please note Products such as batteries, nail polish, perfumes, aftershaves and aerosols can no longer be shipped outside of the UK.

Returning Items Different To Dermalogica

John and Ginger hopes that you will be delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to offer a refund, exchange or replacement, on all goods returned to us within 21 days of your receipt of goods. For hygiene reasons products must be in their original, unopened and unused condition with all tamper resistant seals, packaging and cellophane intact.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used products from a brand other than Dermalogica.

Before you post it, please email us at quoting your order reference and reason for return.

Please include information on whether you would like a refund, replacement or exchange. Please remember that in order for the return to be processed, you must ensure that your name, address and order ref. number is included with your return package.

Please return your package obtaining proof of postage - just in case.

All returned goods will be examined upon receipt and we will refund your purchase within 7 working days of receiving the goods.

Please note
our prices are very low and give you the opportunity of saving some money when you buy from us. To keep our prices down, we cannot refund the delivery charges incurred when your order was sent or when you send an item back. If you benefited from free delivery then we do reserve the right to refund you for your return, minus the delivery and re-stocking costs of £3.99 for UK orders and £5.99 for international orders.

If you are making a return from outside of the EU it is important to mark all returns as RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE. This must be clearly marked on the customs information document (CN22 or CN23 which is supplied by your local post office) on the outside of the packaging. Failure to do so may result in the goods being refused at customs in the UK and so being returned to the sender.

If you have paid import duty for goods received, and subsequently return the goods to us, it should be possible for you to claim a refund of duties from your local customs authority. To do this, you will need to show them proof of duty paid and proof of export (such as certificate of posting) when claiming your refund.

Cancellation Right

In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, you are entitled to cancel your order at any time within 7 days of receiving your goods. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which you received the goods. If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, please email us a notice of cancellation to customercare@johnandginger.co.ukand return the goods to us; we appreciate if they are in their original, unopened and unused condition.
